Welcome to the home page for Cub Scout Pack 546, we are located in Northridge California. This pack was founded over 23 years ago and is going strong!
REMEMBER A LEAST ONE PARENT ...For each cub is expected to register as an Adult Leader. This is an important requirement for getting our Quality Unit Award. Our Pack reimburses the cost of this and the training is fun. So don't forget to register and take the training!
New Ribbon for our Pack Flag!We have another ribbon to add to our flag the NATIONAL PACK AWARD! This represents a 100% Den Leader Training ... Way to go Parents!
A big thank you ...To the following Bear Cubs who did the flag ceremony for the Pinecrest Northridge Pre-School graduation : Alex Na, Will Houchins, Robert Elkin and Daniel Hall. Also to the boys who did the District Roundtable flag ceremony: Will Houchins, Robert Elkin, Alex Na, Brad Bolves, Brandon Severson and Thomas Steinberg.
CongratulationsTo all the Cubs that have signed on for a fun filled summer. We will be having a bowling league, the summer cub mobile races and hopefully a campout by the end of summer. Hope to see you there!
Enjoy the hike ...The Scorpions, our Webelos den is at it again. Their next planned event is a hike at Sweizer falls. Hope to hear all about it.
Looks like Bear Den 6 is having fun ....Bear Den 6 used Leader Phil Dye's boat to learn to Rig a Sale and then worked on repairing a dock. Can't wait to see what the summer brings for these boys!
Way to go Bear Den 5 ....In April Den 5 went on a trip to Edwards Airforce base and saw F16, C130 and their fire station! Where else are we going to find you boys.
We want to go too....Wolf Den 8 is going to Huricane Harbor in July! We want to go too, please, please, please? Well at least tell us how it went when you come back.
Scout LibraryThe Pack 546 Scout Library resides with Ann Elkin. We have most of the books to achieve belt loops and pins. Also many books to help plan meetings. Need a book? E-mail Ann Elkin at aelkin@jps.net. Tell here what you want and she'll drop it off at Pinecrest Northridge office for you. If you go to Pinecrest Chatsworth (Philips Academy) we'll have to workout another way to get you the books.
