Moments

We all have our moments of glory

and hopefully afterwards

we don't fall on our face.

I am trying to decide

if I disapprove of myself

and if so what can I do

to win my approval.

Anger strikes at suddenly at times,

otherwise it sneaks up gradually,

and sometimes just to fend off the tears.

When inspired one should create

until the inspiration fades

or

some says "my god ... that's awful"

which ever comes first

and hopefully it's the inspiration.

The shallowness of my youth appalls me.

Thank God, I didn't know it then.

I might not have enjoyed it as much.
